A wine based on Grenache rather than Syrah with 90% of the former variety in the blend. The thinner skinned Grenache gives the wine a slightly lighter colour but a very generous red berry and cherry personality. Medium bodied with good weight on the palate and a firm tannic structure. The wine spends less time in oak than the Cantaussel, preferring not to obsure the vibrant fruit expression. Review by Matthew Stubbs MW.
