Just bottled when I tasted it (Dec 2006) and typical of fine wines at this stage. Not very aromatic but hinting at dark, hidden depths. Plenty of weight to the fruit and very tannic yet not overtly oaky. Like a thoroughbred waiting for the start box to open it's unpredictable but the form looks very good. Concentrated fruit, lovely oak and a finish of crisp acidity. Once it gets up and running you know its going to be a winner. One to follow! Review by Matthew Stubbs MW
