Other things to do - The Languedoc is a lovely part of Mediterranean France with plenty of things to do and see.

We can tailor corporate packages to suite your requirements for example:

Vineyard Tour and Lunch    This starts with an introduction to the Domaine and the Minervois by our Bilingual Vineyard Partners guide and includes:

A tour of the vines to see how they are grown, the different grape
varieties available and why different grapes varieties are grown
in different parts of the estate.

A tour of the wine making facilities to understand exactly howwine is made, from the reception of the grapes during harvest tofermentation and ageing in tanks and oak barrels. This usually includes tasting of young wines direct from the tank or barrels. 

A  wine tasting of the full range of wines and of different vintages of the same wine to appreciate how the vintages can make a real difference to the taste of the wines.

A sit down 4 course French country lunch. During which guests are encouraged to try the wines they have tasted at the wine tasting with food to see how they marry with different courses

The cost of the Tour, wine and Lunch is around £50 per head depending on the choice of lunch.

As an optional extra special treat we can organise for a case of 12 bottles of wine from the domaine to be shipped to the UK home address of the delegates.

Transport    We can provide transport to and from the Airport to accommodation and to and from the Wine Tour - this can off course be available for sight seeing trips if required. For a party of the size you are suggesting a minibus is the best option and prices start from around £300 per day (if evening use is required there is often a supplementary charge).

Accommodation    We can organise accommodation in the area. this ranges from:
Local Chambre D'Hote, this is the best value and is upmarket French Bed and Breakfast, and often in our opinion more comfortable than some hotels. Prices for ensuite bedrooms range from £45 to £75 a night per room.

The Hotel de la Cite in the Medieval centre of Carcassonne, which is the finest persevered medieval fortified town in Europe and a Unesco World Heritage site. This is the smartest hotel in the area and rates start from about £225 a night.

Conference/Workshop Facilities     We can organise the hire of a beautiful small conference facility close to the area that is an architect designed conversion of an ancient barn set at the edge of a small village.

Other Things to do    The Languedoc is a lovely part of Mediterranean France with plenty of things to do and see. we can organise a short cruise on the Canal du Midi, another World Heritage site; a tour of Carcassonne; a trip to an Olive cooperative; depending on the time of year a beach trip, or more wine tasting in the Minervois at one of our other Partner Vineyards or in another adjoining area such as the Corbierres.

We can (of course) organise for an evening meal at a local restaurant.  There's a lot of choice ranging from a Michelin starred establishment to a wonderful country restaurant that only serves at lunch time - but where lunch lasts at least 3 hours!

So, in summary, we are sure that we can organise a package that will be exciring and cost effective, and guaranteed to increase your delegates' knowledge of wine and winemaking.
